So, diabetes is of two types;
.type 1 diabetes
.type2 diabetes
TYPE 1 DIABETES
If there is an excess amount of glucose in our bloodstream, then the glucose level rises up in our blood .because of which we suffer from hyperglycemia.
Complications
.Hyperglycemia
.genital itching
.thirdness
.thrust
.weightloss
.urination
.blurred vision
DIAGNOSIS
.Glucose tolorence test[GTT]
.fasting blood glucose
.ppbg
TYPE-2 DIABETES
The type-2 diabetes occurs for the two regions
.if our pancreas does not secret insulin
.our cells are making the resistance to it.
There are many kinds of receptors in our cells which receive glucose into it .if there is any kind of abnormality or our cells create insulin resistance than the glucose doesn’t enter into our cells.
On another part due to the increase glucose level in our blood if the pancreas secrets more amount of insulin (mainly the b –cells) then these are all accumulate in our body and our body shows various abnormalities.
Complications
.Hyperosmolar hyperglycemic nonketotic syndrome(HHNS)
.Hypoglycemia
DIABETIC KETO ACIDOSIS
There are various amount of glucose as well as insulin accumulate in our body. so, our body uses fat and protein as an energy-producing source. As a result, the fat breakdown and the ketone body produced in a large amount. which results in Diabetic ketoacidosis. It causes a coma even if death.
HYPEROSMOLAR HYPERGLYCEMIC NONKETOTIC SYNDROM
When glucose level rises up in our body, it goes to the kidney for filtration. Then a lot of glucose, as well as water, excrete from our body. A large amount of glucose also reabsorbs into our bloodstream as a result of which the blood conc. rises up, then it absorbs the fluid from the cells and tissues. Because of which the person may suffer from hydration. It results in severe neurological disorders and coma.
HYPOGLYCEMIA
Oral hypoglycemic medication may damage the brain cells like neurons .they maybe decrease the glucose level in excess which causes nervousness, diabetic coma, confusion etc.
TREATMENTS
.PLENTY OF FRUITS, VEGETABLES, WHOLE GRAINS
.REGULAR MEAL AND SNACKS
.EAT BALANCED CARBOHYDRATE, PROTEIN, AND FAT
.MINIMAL THE LEVEL OF HIGH SUGAR FOODS
.DO EXERCISE FOER MINIMUM OF 30 MINS A DAY
IN SEVERE TAKE INSULIN MEDICATIONS AS PER THE PHYSICIAN ORDER.
